A mother and daughter who sell homes together.

Paula grew up in Woonsocket, right next door, and has lived in Blackstone since 1990. Tara grew up here in town.
Tara's family roots in Blackstone go back generations, and Paula's husband bought their land as a teenager and built their house from the ground up.
The Sullivan Group started simply: Tara already had her real estate license, and she asked her mom to join her. Paula said yes.

Before real estate, Paula studied interior design and worked for an interior designer, a construction company and an engineering company, and she ran her own business for ten years. So when she earned her license, about six years ago, the work came naturally.
She especially loves helping first-time buyers, and she educates her clients the whole way through. It's what led her to write Marry the House, Date the Rate. She has also been a member of the Friends of the Library for about 25 years.

Tara grew up in Blackstone and has been licensed since 2017, a few years before her mom. She's the one who brought Paula into real estate.
"What I love most about real estate is helping people through such an important chapter in their lives. I especially enjoy working with sellers, getting their homes ready for the market, and seeing everything come together for a successful sale."
We both help buyers and sellers and collaborate throughout each client's transaction. There's no big team you get passed around, and we cover for each other.
"If she's busy, I'll help her out, and if I'm busy, she helps me."
"Every transaction comes with its own personalities, surprises, decisions, and little puzzles to solve. That's part of what makes this work so interesting to us."
Paula's book for first-time homebuyers grew out of the part of the job she loves most: helping someone go from "This is terrifying!" to "We just closed!"
